Tour 1: Show me how mailDuster blocks spam Jump to Next Tour

Welcome to your first tour of mailDuster. Please keep your fingers and thumbs safely resting on the keyboard for the entire ride. If at any time, you feel the urge to eliminate spam, just push the emergency Sign Up link located at the top of the page. Now, let's meet today's cast ...

The tour cast:

The tour begins as we catch the evil spammer composing his next message. As usual, his grammer is horrible and the topic is of no concern to our protaganist -- you! Let's take a closer look...

After composing the message, the spammer sits back, takes a deep breath and presses the send button releasing 2 million copies of the sticky email!

Please direct your eyes to the left because here comes our hero.

The spammer's email is delivered to your email box at your local ISP and sits waiting for you to check your mail. But hold on, you have mailDuster - yeah. mailDuster sends a reply back to the spammer with instructions describing how to request permission to have his email delivered.

Usually, the spammer's reply address is bogus. In that case, the message is never delivered to your email program and that spammer's email address is forever blocked. Now some of you might be asking, but what if the message was from a friend. Well, then you need to check out Tour 2 . Until then, let's get back to this tour!

Hey, but what about you! Oh sure, where did you fit into this tour? Well, that is the wonderful thing about mailDuster -- you were never bothered.
